Quality Private Mini Storage

Many of the companies providing storing units offer private mini storage of different types to store the valuables. One might think of storing their goods like jewelry, antiques, furniture, utensils, clothes, books and other precious items in homemade storing containers like boxes. It might prove to be inexpensive in comparison to storing in company provided storing units. But one must remember that the quality of storing provided by the homemade units is much inferior to those provided by companies.

The company provided storing units usually range from 9 sq. ft. to 1170 sq. ft. One can choose the storing units according to the size of their belongings. Jewelry, decorative pieces, electronic goods and the like do not require very big storing units. They can choose the private mini storage of the minimum size. But other items like furniture require big storing units. Some of the items to be stored might require environment control features like the maintenance of constant temperature and humidity. One cannot provide environment control facilities in the home environment and hence it is necessary for them to hire the company provided amenities. Household items like wine, metallic and wooden furniture and electronic goods need to be stored in climate controlled chambers to preserve their quality.

The storing units provided by the companies are generally made of brick, mortar or steel. These materials increase their durability. A private mini storage is made environment proof also. It is ensured that the corner of the storing units are made leak proof and the walls are free of cracks. The floors are made of concrete and are sealed to keep the unit free of pests. When it comes to security the company provided storing units have a lot of sophisticated features in comparison to the homemade units. They might be having gates that are electronically operated by the caretaker or renter of the unit. The gates might also be locking mechanisms which need to be deciphered by the caretaker of the unit or the one who has rented it.

A private mini storage can be designed to ensure cleaning efficiency. The flooring of the storehouse can be sloped to the corners to ensure easy water flow out of the unit while cleaning it. The doors of the unit might be sealed with rubber gaskets to make it environment and pest proof. The units might be provided with a mechanism of being lighted up individually. This ensures that the electricity is being used economically. Moreover the renter can specify the timings for which he wants the lighting for his unit.

Many companies provide storing units that one can place in a location of their choice or in the premises of the company. If the chosen location is the company premises, then the premises leading to the private mini storage are designed to allow maximum convenience while transporting the goods to the storing units. The premises have elevators that are sufficiently big enough to accommodate some of the largest furniture. The flooring of the elevators is also made of steel and skid proof material. The hallways are all well lit so that one needs not fear banging or hitting something in areas that are less or not illuminated at all. Dollies and moving cart facilities are provided to transport the items to be stored in the storing units.
